The Literacy Alliance of the Shuswap Society promotes literacy in the North Okanagan-Shuswap area through awareness, collaborative partnerships, and education in order to enhance the health and well-being of individuals and the community.




save_share_spendThe Save/Share/Spend financial literacy program is offered to all grade 3 classes in School District No. 83 North Okanagan-Shuswap. Students learn about setting financial goals and every grade 3 student receives a Save/Share/Spend Moonjar moneybox to take home and assemble with their parents. Parents also receive information about other financial literacy resources they can use to help their children learn about money.
